Relax with Informal Wedding Photography
Informal wedding photography relies upon people being at set locations as is the case with traditional photography but is a far more relaxed genre. To illustrate the point, notice the bridesmaids in this image - they have been posed and a series of different shots was taken whilst they were chatting and clearly enjoying themselves.

Contrast that image with the following one, which you could describe as photojournalism as it is completely natural and un-posed.

With this style the photographer plays a directing role by having people together but relies upon people to interact with each other. In the process he/she will take lots of images hoping to catch the moment that really shows folk enjoying themselves without them being conscious of the camera.See our notes on how to choose your wedding photographer.
