Join Cherubs for Professional Baby Photography

Holbrook Studios are part of the baby professional photography scheme called Cherubs , sponsored by the Master Photographers' Association (MPA), Kodak and Art Leather to get you images you'll cherish.

We have a very simple concept, we photo your babe three times during his/her first year/eighteen months. You'll be able to select your favorites after each session.

After the final session you will receive a beautiful Art Leather folio. It contains three images showing the development of your child at approximately four months, eight months and one year.

Our Recommendations

Our recommendation is for a first visit when your child is around 3 to 4 months years old. This session is about capturing images that really show the baby look. Lots of the pictures will be close up and arty allowing for lovely collages. Clothing is not recommended - nappies or birthday suits are best. If however, you choose clothing, try and avoid dark colors.

Second Visit

At this stage, your child will ideally be 8 to 9 months old and sitting unaided. These sessions are really good fun and produce lots of smiley images. This is a good time to include brothers and sisters and and an opportunity to have an un-missable family portrait.

Third Visit

On the last visit, ideally your child will be walking. A studio session is always a possibility but weather permitting, we recommend an outdoor session at a place of your choice, perhaps a local park. Providing that the shoot takes place within 10 miles of Holbrook Studios, there is no extra cost to you. An outdoor session provides an excellent contrast and further extends the range of images in your folio.

Over the three sessions you'll have some lovely images showing how much your child has changed in their first year - you'll be amazed and glad you joined the Cherubs Club! By adopting the approach mentioned for each visit you will really appreciate how much change has taken place in so short a time. These are changes that you don't really notice as you see your child every day.
